What is DemoCamp?
DemoCamp is an event format that involves a keynote speaker, about 5 software demos which each consist of 5 minutes of actually demoing the software and 5 minutes of Q&A, followed by general socializing with the good company in attendance. The DemoCampHamilton page with further details on the demos is located at: ghcsn.org/democamp.
Ali Asaria, founder/CEO of Well.ca will give the keynote address, details on the topic will be posted soon. Local firms Fluid Media, AlboDigital, CartaNova and PoolingPeople.ca have volunteered to demo thus far.
Who should attend?
Anyone in and around Hamilton interested in software, the web and technology - developers, students, designers, engineers, start-up junkies, consultants, money and marketing guys. It's a chance to see and talk about some interesting things and get to know people in the Hamilton software community. You don't have to demo to attend.
